November 2014

We are pleased to announce that Cuyahoga Arts & Culture has awarded Jennings grant funding for our 2015 Gateway to Culture events. Thanks in part to this funding, we can offer arts and culture programs that enable older adults and children at Jennings and in our community to discover their potential and celebrate life through art, culture and lifelong learning. The announcement was made Monday afternoon after CAC’s Board of Trustees voted during its board meeting on Monday, November 24, at 4 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to our life enrichment staff who is consistently creative in using this funding and helping individuals to continue discovering their potential and celebrating life! The funding will be used for arts and culture programs in 2015, for older adults as well as children, combined with funding from PNC Foundation and other potential funders.

in News

As we look ahead to the celebration of Thanksgiving this Thursday, we recall our blessings large and small. We thank God for the gifts and challenges that each day brings, which shape our lives in unique ways. Thank YOU for the gift you are! May God bless you abundantly on Thanksgiving and always.

Thanksgiving Table Prayer

O Gracious God, we give you thanks for your overflowing generosity to us. Thank you for the blessings of the food we eat and especially for this feast today. Thank you for our home and family and friends, especially for the presence of those gathered here. Thank you for our health, our work and our play. Please send help to those who are hungry, alone, sick, and suffering war and violence. Open our hearts to your love. We ask your blessing in your goodness and love. Amen.
