Advocates for Older Adult Services
Much of Jennings’ collaboration includes advocacy efforts for high quality, extensive choices for older adults and their families. Together with other like-minded organizations, we take leadership or membership roles in collaborative efforts and associations.
Members of LeadingAge (formerly known as AAHSA, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) help millions of individuals and their families every day through mission-driven, not-for-profit organizations dedicated to providing the services that people need, when they need them, in the place they call home. Founded in 1937, LeadingAge Ohio (formerly known as AOPHA, the advocate of not-for-profit services for older Ohioans) is a statewide nonprofit trade association representing nearly 300 not-for-profit providers of senior housing, both subsidized and market rate, adult day care, home- and community-based services, assisted living and skilled nursing. AOPHA’s vision is to empower not-for-profit, Ohio organizations to optimize choices for successful aging. (www.leadingageohio.org)
