At Jennings, you’re never too old to enjoy the thrill of a slip and slide! Jennings residents celebrated the dog days of summer by cooling off…and checking off an item on their summer bucket lists! As part of our Water Fun day, Jennings staff have modified the slip and slide experience for older adults here and are excited for their water adventure. The adults received encouragement from their student friends, who also enjoyed the slip and slide for this intergenerational experience. We played into the afternoon with water balloons, inflatables, squirt guns and bubbles. Our culinary services team grilled burgers and hot dogs for a lovely outdoor picnic. An incredibly fun day for all ages!
