The daily celebration of the Eucharist is the focal point of our community. It is here that we are fed and strengthened and transformed into the Body of Christ. We, as one participate in the divine sacrifice and unite ourselves in union with Christ to the father as a sacrifice pleasing to him! We participate in the liturgy with deep devotion and full participation.
Our religious life is an intensive call to that perfect love of God and neighbor that was taught and lived by Jesus as the foremost of all commandments. It is therefore the primary concern of all of the sisters to grow in holiness daily under the impulse of the spirit in that same love of God.
The means we use to grow vary, but primarily consists of our daily reception of the Eucharist, the daily recitation of the Rosary, deep prayer and meditation, the recitation of The Divine Office in Common, spiritual reading and the frequent reception of the Sacraments.
We view community as a family of friends, consciously and deliberately built day by day. Our community life is sacrificial, as was Christ’s entire life on earth, involving the daily laying down of ones own life for the sake of others. In the spirit of St. Augustine the father of our Rule we continually strive for profound humility, childlike simplicity, seraphic charity and devout prayer.
