Jennings provides private long-term care suites on a vibrant continuum of care campus. With more than 75 years of experience, we focus on choices and holistic quality care for the mind, body and spirit. Bringing together the traditions of neighborhood and home, Jennings offers the opportunity to enjoy the everyday elements of community life while providing the extra support that you need.
Private Suites, Home Comforts
At Jennings, each nursing home suite is private and offers a studio layout with living area, bed and private bathroom. Though the suite can be furnished with dresser, night stand and chair (at no charge), we welcome you to bring your own furnishings to make it home. Large bright windows invite the light, while campus gardens provide seasonal inspiration for enjoying the outdoors. Each comfortable suite also offers a memory curio cabinet to display personal items, and can be decorated to an individual’s taste.
Personal choice is at the heart of the person-directed routine. For example, each individual chooses what time to bathe, how to decorate one’s suite, what to eat at a meal and when to dine. These are as important as choices about care. Home-cooked meals, prepared by our executive chef and culinary services staff, are served restaurant style to your preference.
A balance of privacy and social activity enables you to spend time doing what you enjoy. Social areas, activities and amenities invite friendships and enable the spirit of community to flourish. Life-enriching social, recreational and lifelong learning activities provide the channel for virtually all interests and celebrate life throughout the campus. From on-campus programs to off-campus outings, Jennings encourages the celebration of life and discovery of potential.
In the spirit of Catholic health care, we see the person first, heal hurting hearts, and affirm the life of the individual. With the support of an interdisciplinary team of professional staff, Jennings helps older adults manage chronic illnesses such as congestive heart failure, pulmonary disease, stroke, vascular disease and dementia.
Our architecture features individualized neighborhoods on three floors, including two secure neighborhoods for those who require the security and specialty programming for memory support. An easily accessible, secure garden area is available for residents to enter in and out of the gardens as they desire and enjoy with loved ones.
